Our focus is on creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive and achieve their full potential. 5ab Care is growing and we now have opportunities for dedicated and experienced Senior Residential Support Workers/Team Leaders to join our teams across Luton, Kettering and Bedford As a Team Leader at 5ab Care, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support within the home. You will work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained at all times. The role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a team of Residential Care Workers. Ensure that the physical, emotional, and social needs of children and young people are met. Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families. Responsibility for safeguarding and promoting individual rights, providing good quality care which is free from oppression, and where differences are respected and valued Liaise with the various internal and external multi-disciplinary teams and commissioning authorities to ensure that the care needs of new and existing children, and young people are met. This may also include chairing meetings, reviews and discussions Act as a role model and mentor to our Residential Support Workers, providing guidance and support as required. Assist the Registered Manager in the implementation of care plans and risk assessments. Ensure that all records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date. Requirements: NVQ Level 3 or above in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent. Previous experience working in a residential care setting with children and young people. Leadership and management skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team A compassionate and caring approach.
