Over three years, you’ll gain hands-on experience across 2x 18-month placements in vital areas such as: – Financial Planning & Analysis – this team plays a key role in partnering with the business to drive financial performance and decision-making. You’ll gain experience from across various areas, from sales and claims performance to strategic planning and reporting to senior leadership. – Financial Reporting & Controls – this team oversees financial and regulatory reporting, ensuring strong financial controls and best practices across the Group. You’ll have the opportunity to develop technical expertise in statutory and regulatory reporting while also building relationships with stakeholders across the business as well as external auditors. – Property Finance – this team manages transactions, budgeting, and financial reporting for all NFU Mutual properties. You’ll gain experience in areas like statutory reporting and budgeting and will work closely with the wider Property Team. Plus, we’ll support you every step of the way as you work towards becoming a chartered accountant with CIMA or ACCA qualifications. Your future Throughout the scheme, you’ll strengthen your core finance skills, earn qualifications, and develop essential competencies to set you up for a successful career. You’ll be fully supported along the way, with a dedicated buddy and mentor, plus a strong network of current and former graduates. As you near the end of the scheme, a careers coach will be there to guide you in planning your next steps. It’s not all about work either.
