This opportunity is ideal for a university student who is currently doing an accounting related degree such as mathematical, business studies subjects and wants to do a year placement as part of their degree or wanting to take a year out to gain first-hand experience. This role is within our Financial Planning and Analysis team. You’ll be able to gain experience of accounts work in practice, covering a variety of tasks and the chance to meet and understand the work of other teams in the department. The main purpose of the role is to help prepare monthly accounts and claims analysis. You’ll gain experience in assisting in the delivery of short term/one off projects and the opportunity to identify improvements about data analysis techniques. Through the support of the team you will collect, check, and analyse accounts using Excel. You’ll work with stakeholders across the Finance Division and understand the finance infrastructure at the NFU Mutual. This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. You’ll be a University undergraduate undertaking an honor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, economics or another degree with significant mathematical content.
